📜 The Covenant of Curiosities
Our binding spell of fair trade, strange returns, and the fine print that keeps the oddities realm spinning.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Quicklance.com (the "Cabinet"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("The Covenant"). If you find any part of these terms unacceptable, we kindly ask you to leave our curious bazaar. These terms apply to all visitors, collectors, and casual browsers.
2. Oddities & Product Descriptions
We take immense care in describing each artifact — from the "Void Sextant" to the "Whispering Folio". However, due to the unique nature of vintage and speculative curiosities:
- Patina & character: Many items are reclaimed, upcycled, or one-of-a-kind. Slight variations in color, texture, or metaphysical glow are part of their charm.
- Images: All product images are working representations and may differ slightly from the exact piece you receive (unless stated "exact item shown").
- Limited editions: Some oddities are produced in very small batches — once sold out, they may never return (but something stranger will appear).
3. Pricing & Payments
All prices are listed in USD ($) and do not include applicable taxes or shipping fees, which are calculated at checkout. Quicklance accepts major credit cards, PayPal, and the occasional barter of rare curios (contact our support).
- We reserve the right to adjust prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders already placed.
- In the rare event of a pricing error, we will contact you before processing — you may cancel or accept the corrected price.
- All transactions are secured with arcane encryption (SSL) to protect your payment details.
4. Shipping & The Wandering Parcel
We ship worldwide from our Odditorium warehouse. Delivery times vary between 3–14 business days depending on your location (allow extra time for customs in faraway realms).
- Tracking: Every order receives a tracking number via email once dispatched.
- Lost packages: If a parcel vanishes into the unknown for more than 20 days, contact us — we will investigate and either reship or refund.
- Customs & duties: International buyers are responsible for any import fees or local taxes.
5. Returns & Exchanges (The Uncommon Return Policy)
We want you to love your curiosity. If something isn't right, you have 30 days from delivery to request a return or exchange.
- Items must be unused, in original packaging (if applicable), and with all provenance cards.
- Final sale items: "Mystery Boxes", perishable curios, and personalized oddities cannot be returned unless defective.
- To start a return, email oddities@Quicklance.com with your order number and reason. We'll provide a return label.
- Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days after we receive and inspect the item.
For exchanges (swapping one oddity for another), just indicate the desired item. Any price difference will be adjusted.
6. The Curious Community & User Conduct
We encourage reviews, discussions, and sharing your oddities on social media. However, you agree not to:
- Post harmful, defamatory, or misleading content about Quicklance or other customers.
- Attempt to hack, scrape, or overburden our website.
- Resell our items in a misleading way — we love small resellers but ask that you credit the original oddity.
Violations may result in a ban from our Cabinet (and a sternly worded letter).
7. Limitation of Liability
Quicklance is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our products — whether due to supernatural interference, shipping mishaps, or general strangeness. Our total liability, to the extent permitted by law, shall not exceed the price you paid for the item in question.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence.
8. Intellectual Property & Oddity Lore
All content on Quicklance — including product descriptions, images, logos, and the term "Cabinet of Wonders" — is our intellectual property. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit written permission. However, feel free to share product pages with attribution.
9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the United Kingdom (where our Odditorium is based). Any disputes arising will first be attempted to be resolved informally through our support team. If not resolved, both parties agree to arbitration in London, UK, before any court action.
